Landstede Groep en de Gemeente Zwolle zijn op zoek naar een integraal ontwerpteam voor de nieuwbouw van het Meander College in Zwolle. De opdracht betreft de ontwikkeling van de vervangende nieuwbouw van het Meander College, nieuwe binnensportvoorzieningen, maatschappelijke voorzieningen en de inrichting van de bijbehorende buitenruimte. De opdracht maakt onderdeel uit van de verdere versterking van het centrumgebied van Aa-landen en biedt een unieke kans om onderwijs, sport, cultuur, ontmoeting en maatschappelijke dienstverlening op een eigentijdse manier met elkaar te verbinden.
Het nieuwe gebouw moet aansluiten bij de onderwijsvisie en het cultuurprofiel van het Meander College en bijdragen aan een gezonde, inclusieve en duurzame leefomgeving. Gezocht wordt een multidisciplinair ontwerpteam dat in nauwe samenwerking met opdrachtgever en toekomstige bouwteampartners werkt aan een kwalitatief hoogwaardig en haalbaar ontwerp.
