Description

Masterton District Council are seeking a suitable, qualified Contractor who can undertake the Nikau Heights Reservoir Renewal Construction (the Works). The Works will involve: - Demolition and/or removal of existing timber tanks, redundant pipework, fencing, trees and other vegetation. - Civil work including topsoil stripping, site trimming and leveling, ground improvement via 1m deep hardfill base, pre-cast valve manhole, permeable pavement installation. - Construction of new reinforced concrete tank foundations and valve pads. - Integration with MDC’s nominated tank installer, for the construction and commissioning of two 500 kL galvanized steel tanks with new liners, pipe connections, and pipe supports (supplied by MDC). - Supply and installation of associated stainless steel (SS) and polyethylene (PE) pipework, valves, and flow meters. - Integration with the existing valve chamber, rising main, transmission main and drainage/scour outlet including enabling works to demolish and replace valve chamber roof, if required. - Integration with MDC electrical and control installation. - Integration with supplier completing reinstatement works on Golf Course land - All testing, sterilisation, commissioning and handover documentation.
