Aftalen er ikke opdelt i mindre delaftaler, da en samlet aftale sikrer ens redningsenheder og dermed ensartet funktionalitet i anvendelsen samt ensartet krav til reservedele og vedligeholdelse. Aftalen indgås på baggrund af det aftaleudkast, der indgår som en del af udbudsmaterialet. For nærmere beskrivelse af ydelsen omfattet af aftalen henvises til det samlede udbudsmateriale. Udbuddet er et genudbud. Aftalen er oprindeligt udbudt ved udbudsbekendtgørelse nr. 565221-2025 offentliggjort den 29. august 2025, og igen senere genudbudt ved udbudsbekendtgørelse nr. 178474-2026 offentliggjort den 16. marts 2026. Der er foretaget justeringer til kontraktslige krav vedrørende leveringen af redningsenhederne samt krav til specifikationerne for redningsenhederne.
