Hjørring Water Company wishes to future-proof the water supply for consumers in Hjørring. There is a need to establish a waterworks that, with a large production capacity, flexibility and possibility for expansion, can ensure drinking water for many years to come. The waterworks will replace the existing waterworks at Horne (Hirtshals Waterworks West), which today faces major renovation and modernization to bring it up to a level that is both modern and can guarantee future supply security. The new waterworks will be located on the northern half of plot no. 6s Skibsby By, Skt. Olai, which is owned by Hjørring Water Company. A local plan for the area has been prepared in connection with the project. This tender comprises the design and execution of a new waterworks on a turnkey basis, including building, water treatment plant, mechanical installations, electrical and SCADA systems, as well as associated technical installations and pipeline works within the scope of works described in the tender material. The tender also includes the services and options set out in the overall tender material. The waterworks shall be built with 2 treatment lines and be designed so that it can later be expanded to 4 treatment lines. The building and plant shall also be designed with the possibility for future advanced water treatment. With reference to Article 65 of the Utilities Directive, it can be stated that the tendered task is not divided into sub-contracts, as the contracting authority has assessed that, given the characteristics of the task, it is most appropriately solved by a single company. A fee of DKK 75,000 is paid to each bidder with whom no contract is concluded, but only upon submission of compliant offers.
