Description

The provision of a psychological support service for paediatric patients under the agreed Paediatric Speciality Team within the Acute Hospital and/or with long term conditions across these specialities:
• Oncology
• Diabetes/Endocrine
• Neuro/Epilepsy
• Gastroenterology
The emotional wellbeing support service delivered by the sub-contractor will align with and be delivered in accordance with appropriate professional governance standards.
The service provides brief emotional wellbeing support and psychoeducational interventions and does not constitute formal psychological therapy or diagnostic psychological treatment.
