Roudnice nad Labem bypass – III. stage – Design documentation, Engineering activities + Designer's supervision

The subject of the public contract is the performance of design work (PD), engineering activities (IČ), designer's supervision (DP), and potential cooperation in the selection of the construction contractor. The subject of the work is the preparation of design documentation, including a list of construction works, supplies, and services with a bill of quantities for the purpose of realizing the construction of the “Roudnice nad Labem bypass – III. stage”. The design documentation will fully respect the purpose of the work, which is the construction of the Roudnice nad Labem bypass, connecting to already built stages. The design documentation addresses the design of the route, which connects to the already completed section of the bypass, before the intersection of roads II/246 and III/24616. The route then continues outside the built-up area of the village of Podlusky. It is followed by a bridge structure 260 m long, which crosses both road III/24616 (Podlusky-Nové Dvory) and the Čepel stream at an underpass. The route is further directed towards the intersection with roads III/24048 and III/24056, where an underpass intersection will be created. The relocation of road III/24048 is also included. It is followed by a bridge structure over the Elbe River 600 m long. The route then crosses the Vědomice-Černěves cycle path; the crossing is resolved by an underpass of the bypass route. In the further continuation, it crosses the local communication Vědomice-Černěves. The bypass route will subsequently connect to road II/240 in the village of Vědomice (Zavadilka) via a T-shaped at-grade intersection, with the secondary direction from Vědomice being resolved by a short relocation with a slight diversion to the south. The new bypass route will divert transit traffic from built-up areas and connects to the already built sections of the Roudnice nad Labem bypass. At the same time, new cycle paths will be connected. The goal is the most suitable routing of the II/240 relocation corridor, which is defined as a public benefit construction in the superior territorial planning documentation. The study route was consulted based on defined problem areas, and the requirement for the method of solution and scope of the design was specified. The new relocation route minimizes negative impacts on built-up areas; by shifting the route outside built-up areas, areas that were restricted in the Vědomice ÚP will be freed up, and at the same time, the traffic corridor will be separated from existing and proposed development. The new route will divert transit traffic and connect to the already built bypasses of the town of Roudnice nad Labem. At the same time, new cycle paths will be connected.
