Ottendorf Okrilla High School - Lot 302 Shell Construction Elevator Shaft

The Building and Property Office of the Bautzen district plans to make the four-story high school at Radeburger Straße 23, 01458 Ottendorf-Okrilla barrier-free. It is planned to add an elevator to the West connector. The elevator will be accessed via a ramp leading to a new additional entrance on the ground floor of the West connector. The planned passenger elevator is intended to transport wheelchair users from the basement to the 2nd upper floor. The new elevator, which will be attached to the outside of the West connector, connects the basement, the ground floor, the 1st upper floor, and the 2nd upper floor. All 4 elevator accesses will be from the existing necessary West stairwell, which has an opening for smoke extraction of approximately 1.20 m² on the top floor. The foundation will be a floor slab on grown or compacted subsoil. The walls will be erected as prefabricated room elements and the ceiling will also be installed as a prefabricated part. The floor slab and basement walls are to be made of watertight concrete according to the structural engineer's recommendation, as well as waterproofing according to water exposure class W 2.1-E DIN 18533-1, based on the recommendation of the geotechnical report.
