Assessment of natural resources using remote sensing methods in Narew National Park

The subject of the order is the acquisition of remote sensing data and the execution, based on them, of an inventory of the natural resources of Narew National Park, including monitoring, change analysis, and feeding the NPN spatial database. The source data will be acquired from an aerial platform using the following techniques: aerial laser scanning, vertical images in the visible spectrum, hyperspectral and thermal imagery, and oblique images. Based on the remote sensing data and accompanying reference ground measurements, raster and vector thematic layers and maps describing the spatial distribution of the analyzed natural phenomena will be developed. The planned analyses will allow for the assessment of their ecosystem status characteristics and their precise mapping, forming a reference base for monitoring changes occurring in the Park's nature and the effects of implementing conservation tasks in the Park. The project results will include, among others, photogrammetric products, geoinformation products, a general environmental status report, thematic reports containing detailed analyses of selected issues with recommendations for the Park's administration, a database management system, and a web and mobile application. 2.
