Maintenance of Unclassified Roads

This tender concerns the provision of services for the maintenance of unclassified roads within the administrative area of the City of Koprivnica. The contract is intended to cover a period of four (4) years and will be executed in accordance with the current Decision on the Classification of Public Roads and the cost estimate provided as part of the tender documentation. The scope of work is defined by the Program for the Maintenance of Unclassified Roads for 2024, which is also attached to the tender documents. Annual programs and cost estimates will be determined for the duration of the framework agreement.

The maintenance services are divided into three main categories: 1. Maintenance of unclassified roads, 2. Winter service, and 3. Maintenance of traffic light systems. Bids are requested for all these services. Road maintenance includes road inspections, preparatory works, maintenance of gravel roads, maintenance of asphalt roads, embankment maintenance, maintenance of road structures, traffic and other surfaces on associated land, grass mowing and green space maintenance, stormwater drainage, maintenance and renewal of traffic signage, other works and emergency interventions, and maintenance of structures such as bridges, overpasses, underpasses, and pedestrian underpasses. Maintenance of traffic light systems includes regular maintenance and servicing, as well as emergency interventions. The winter service encompasses preparatory works, procurement of de-icing materials, and snow removal operations. The subject of the procurement, classified under CPV code 45233141 (Road maintenance works), also requires the provision of permanent standby locations for trained and specialized emergency intervention teams, equipped with appropriate vehicles, machinery, and tools to undertake essential protective measures, as stipulated by the Rulebook on Public Road Patrols.
