The City of Zofingen is planning a comprehensive renewal of its public street lighting infrastructure, building upon a previously completed phase of this initiative. This next phase will focus on upgrading lighting in additional city areas, with a particular emphasis on residential streets (Quartierstrassen). Historically, technical luminaires conforming to a reference product have been utilized for renovations in Zofingen, alongside a standard Huber luminaire. The city has now decided to replace the luminaire heads with technical lighting solutions. The renovation project encompasses two primary scenarios: Situation 1 involves a standard 1:1 replacement of luminaires at existing locations, potentially including the addition of new fixtures where necessary. Situation 2 addresses situations where the street space itself is undergoing renovation, leading to the complete replacement of existing luminaires. In both scenarios, a preliminary technical assessment is required to evaluate the areas designated for upgrade, ensuring the determination of the most compliant and appropriate solution based on current standards and the existing context. The project predominantly specifies luminaires with a color temperature of 2700K, with an exception for nature-oriented areas where a 2200K color temperature is to be employed. A key requirement is that all installed luminaires must belong to a unified luminaire family, and the selection should be limited to two distinct sizes to prevent over-specification. Notably, the scope of this tender excludes the provision of necessary poles, as well as the mounting and commissioning of the luminaires.
