Public tender for transport and treatment of A2 wood for Resources & Recycling – Vejle Municipality

The tender process comprises a contract for the Contracting Authority's procurement of transport and treatment of A2 wood for recycling from Vejle Municipality's recycling centers. The tenderer shall be responsible for the collection, transport, treatment, and recycling of the collected A2 wood from the Contracting Authority's four (4) recycling centers, as well as providing the necessary containers at RessourceCenter Vejle throughout the contract period. The tenderer shall ensure that the largest possible proportion of the wood is recycled and that residual products are handled in accordance with current legislation, including the waste regulation. In 2025, the quantity of wood for recycling (A2 wood) was 6,462 tons and the number of collections for a load of two (2) full containers was 716 from the Contracting Authority's four (4) recycling centers. The quantity and number of collections of wood for recycling (A2 wood) are expected to vary throughout the year and between individual years in the contract period. It is expected that future quantities and numbers of collections will be at approximately the same level. The estimated volume in the tender list is indicative only and not binding for the Contracting Authority, as it is based on historical data.
