Agency: UN Secretariat | Reference: EOIUNGSC24705 | Type: Request for EOI The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi, requires a one-time procurement of General Plumbing Materials for the replenishment of the Strategic Deployment Stock (SDS) in support of United Nations peacekeeping and humanitarian operations worldwide. The requirement encompasses materials, ancillary components, and accessories necessary for the installation, operation, and maintenance of potable water, wastewater, and drainage systems in military and civilian camps, observer sites, police stations, clinics, and other United Nations facilities. The package shall include, but not be limited to, the following: General Plumbing Materials shall comprise, but not be limited to, the following main items: 1. Potable water pipes and fittings 2. Water meters 3. Wastewater pipes 4. Prefabricated PVC grease traps 5. Drainage pipes 6. Prefabricated PVC oil-water separators 7. Road drain manhole gully tops The materials shall be supplied in consolidated Full Packages, each comprising all items and quantities specified in the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and sufficient to support a standard field camp accommodating approximately one hundred (100) personnel. All materials shall be suitable for deployment in demanding operating environments, including desert, tropical, coastal, and mountainous regions, and capable of withstanding the climatic and environmental conditions typically encountered in United Nations field operations. Products shall comply with applicable internationally recognized standards, including, but not limited to, ISO, ASTM, BS, EN, NSF, or equivalent standards acceptable to the United Nations. The Vendor shall provide the necessary technical documentation demonstrating compliance with the specified technical and performance requirements. The contract will be awarded on the basis of a single consolidated package. Split awards will not be considered, as a single-source award is required to ensure compatibility, streamlined delivery, and operational efficiency in the preparation and deployment of SDS packages. All items shall be delivered to UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy, in suitable protective packaging to prevent damage during handling, transportation, and storage. Delivery Terms: DAP UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy, and/or FCA nearest port of exit (Incoterms® 2020). Interested vendors must demonstrate proven experience in the supply of plumbing materials and related components of a similar nature and scale. Detailed technical specifications, quantities, and administrative requirements will be included in the solicitation documents to be issued following the closure of the Expression of Interest (EOI). This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your Company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued. Vendors interested in participating must be registered with the United Nations Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) at a minimum of the Basic Level. Only vendors registered at this level will be eligible to participate in the subsequent Invitation to Bid (ITB) stage. Vendors with any of the following attributes are strongly encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest: (a) Disability-inclusive organizations; (b) Demonstrated commitment to gender equality; (c) Recognized woman-owned businesses; and (d) Vendors from developing countries, countries with economies in transition, or least developed countries. Interested vendors must demonstrate the technical expertise, relevant experience, and capacity required to deliver the services.
