Předmětem této zakázky je zhotovení stavby „Optimalizace a elektrizace trati České Velenice (mimo) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (mimo) – Zabezpečovací zařízení“. Investiční akce „Optimalizace a elektrizace trati České Velenice (mimo) – Veselí nad Lužnicí (mimo)“ (dále jen „Investiční akce“) má za cíl celkovou rekonstrukci a elektrizaci traťového úseku České Velenice – Veselí nad Lužnicí, který přinese zvýšení traťové rychlosti a zvýšení bezpečnosti drážní a silniční dopravy a dále minimalizace nákladů na provozování ŽDC. Dalším cílem stavby je optimalizace rozsahu infrastruktury. Jde o rekonstrukci svršku (koleje, výhybky) a železničního spodku, propustků a mostů. Budou vybudována nová nástupiště 550 mm nad TK, dále TV (soustava AC 25kV 50 Hz), napájení NN a VN, nové sdělovací (kabelizace, rozhlas, DŘT, ...) a zabezpečovací zařízení. Investiční akce je rozdělena celkem na tři samostatné zakázky – Infrastruktura, Energetika a Zabezpečovací zařízení, které tvoří funkční celek. Předmětem Veřejné zakázky je i poskytnutí součinnosti týkající se Díla či jeho částí, a to po dobu trvání Smlouvy o poskytování součinnosti, přičemž částí Díla se rozumí (nikoli však výhradně) zabezpečovací zařízení, provozní aplikace s vazbou na zabezpečovací zařízení (dále také jen „Zařízení“), a to pro případné budoucí potřeby zadavatele navázat na dodanou část Díla dalším Zařízením jiného zhotovitele/výrobce.
