Provision of driver's license training for students of Oulainen High School The City of Oulainen will fund driver's license (B) training for students of Oulainen High School. The procurement will be implemented as a fixed-term contract for three (3) years. The free driver's license training for students includes mandatory driving lessons and learning materials. The student is responsible for the following costs: - driver's license application fee - theory tests - driving tests - slippery track usage fee - office expenses - optional additional driving lessons - optional additional theory lessons. We request offers that include: - mandatory driving lessons for a B driver's license - risk identification training - basics of traffic - learning material and - vehicle rental for the driving test. We are willing to invest in high-quality training for students and to minimize the time students need to be away from lessons due to driving school. Therefore, we require the following quality criteria in the offer: 1. The majority of driving lessons are conducted in a real car. 2. Driving lessons start from and end at the high school, if they take place during the day. 3. Free transportation for the student to the driving test and theory test. The offer must state that these quality criteria are met. The annual age group of high school students is about 35, of whom an estimated 90% will obtain a driver's license during their high school years. Due to the driver's license law change on 1.10.2026, the content of the risk identification training (RTK) will be updated to comply with the new law's requirements. The requirement as of 1.10.2026 is as follows: - 7 hours of theory, - 5 hours of driving instruction, of which a maximum of 2.5 hours can be completed using a simulator.
