Hankinta on osa Paavolan koulun uuden päärakennuksen toteutusta osoitteessa Hirsikankaantie 3, 62900 Alajärvi. Rakennushankkeessa toteutetaan opetustoimintaa palveleva päärakennus, johon sijoitetaan perusopetuksen opetustiloja, erityisopetustiloja, henkilökunnan tiloja sekä yhteisiä oppimisympäristöjä. Rakennuspaikka ja nykyinen rakennuskanta: Tulevalla rakennuspaikalla sijaitsee kivirakenteinen koulurakennus, joka on rakennettu vuosina 1957/1960.
