NOTE this is not an above threshold exercise but is a notice to highlight this tender is live on eSourcing NI The contract is for the provision of LGBTQUIA+ Hub office fit-out to the part ground & first floor of 2 Royal Avenue, Belfast. The rear extension of the building, constructed in the mid 1990s where the fit-out works are located was originally part of a Tesco supermarket. The extension is in turn part of a listed building, No. 2 Royal Avenue, originally the Belfast branch of the Provincial Bank of Ireland was constructed between 1864 and 1869 now operated by Belfast City Council as a community recreational and cultural space for multi-disciplinary uses. The works include, but are not limited to, the following: - • The demolition / removal of the existing roller shutters, entrance door, lift machinery, screeds, blockwork, suspended ceilings and redundant services. • Some structural timber floor infills. • Installation of some new windows to external walls, • Roof repairs and modification to some roof mounted plant. • Installation of fit-out works, metal studwork partitions, glazed screens, floor finishes, suspended ceilings and furniture. • Associated MEP works, including new lift machinery.
