Uniforms for Rescue Services The subject of the procurement is uniforms for rescue services as specified in the request for tender and its appendices. The procurement of uniforms will be carried out as a procurement ring, where Pohjois-Pohjanmaa wellbeing services county (Pohde) is responsible for the procurement as authorized. The procurement ring includes 26 organizations, consisting of wellbeing services counties, rescue services, Uusimaa Rescue Association, Rescue College, Ministry of the Interior, Finnish Safety and Chemicals Agency, and Finlands Svenska Brand- & Räddingsförbund. A precise list of contracting entities can be found in the procurement contract.
The rescue authority must use the rescue service uniform in their official duties, unless the nature or character of the official duty requires otherwise. The rescue service decides on the obligation of other rescue service personnel to wear the rescue service uniform. The rescue service uniform is used as the uniform for the staff of the Rescue College and as the student uniform for students of the Rescue College. The clothing, accessories, and equipment belonging to the rescue service uniform are defined in the uniform decree and in more detail in the product description guide for the rescue service uniform. Guidance related to the use of the uniform will be defined in the rescue service uniform guide.
The clothing, accessories, and equipment belonging to the rescue service uniform are divided into four outfit sets in the uniform decree: station wear, office wear, visiting wear, and ceremonial wear. The uniform decree specifies which badges and insignia are used on the uniform accessories and where they are attached. Only badges and insignia specified in the decree and guide are used on the uniform.

Partial tenders are not accepted. Alternative tenders deviating from the subject of the procurement are not accepted.
CONTRACT PERIOD
According to the current estimate, the contract will enter into force in January-February 2027. The contract period is five years.
At the beginning of the contract period, time will be allocated for the implementation of the contract, which includes the procurement of materials and the approval of products. A total of approximately eight (8) to nine (9) months will be allocated for the implementation of the contract.
During the contract period, product development work will be carried out based on complaints and/or feedback regarding materials and sizing, among other things. During the last six months of the contract period, inventories will be gradually phased out, which will reduce delivery reliability.
Varsinais-Suomi wellbeing services county is participating in the procurement ring but will make its own procurement decision and procurement contract for the procurement.
