Podstawowym celem Zamawiającego jest zapewnienie ciągłości strategii rozwoju i nadzoru nad jej realizacją dla coraz bardziej złożonej struktury inwestycji wchodzących z zakres utrzymania i rozbudowy systemu KISMiA, poprzez wybór w przedmiotowym postępowaniu Konsultanta ds. utrzymania monitoringu i rozwoju systemu KISMiA. Zamawiający w wyniku przeprowadzonego postępowania powierzy Konsultantowi zarządzanie, koordynację, kontrolę i nadzór inwestorski nad sprawnym i efektywnym działaniem systemu KISMiA oraz kontynuacją realizacji KISMiA, tj. zaplanowanej w latach 2026 -2028 w ujęciu strategicznym rozbudowy systemu KISMiA (Strategia „KISMiA i e-Katowice”) poprzez m.in włączenia innych systemów, w celu rozszerzania jego pierwotnej funkcjonalności. Pełne przygotowanie i merytoryczny nadzór postępowań o udzielenie zamówienia publicznego dla nowych inwestycji związanych z rozbudową KISMiA. Równolegle ważnym celem pozostawać będzie w realizacji zadań przez Konsultanta, skuteczne egzekwowanie od Wykonawców robót, wymagań dotyczących jakości stosowanych materiałów i realizacji robót, wykonania obiektu zgodnie z dokumentacją projektową, w ustalonych w umowach z Wykonawcami terminach.
