Original language: DutchDeze aanbesteding betreft de levering, installatie en het onderhoud van twee personen- en twee bagagescanners voor de IND. De scanner worden ingezet om veiligheids- en identiteitscontroles uit te voeren bij asielaanvragers. Het doel is om verboden of gevaarlijke voorwerpen te detecteren op het lichaam van de aanvragers met de personenscanner en in hun bagage met de bagagescanner. Naast de levering van de apparatuur, omvat de aanbesteding ook de training van personeel zodat zij de apparatuur op de juiste manier kunnen bedienen. Tevens wordt er een servicecontract afgesloten voor preventief en correctief onderhoud van de scanners, inclusief jaarlijkse stralingsmetingen voor de bagagescanner. De beoogde apparatuur zal bijdragen aan het efficiënter en sneller uitvoeren van controles, waardoor de algehele veiligheid op de locatie wordt verhoogd. De scanners moeten non-invasief werken en zijn ontworpen om de controle te vergemakkelijken zonder inbreuk op de privacy van de aanvragers. Het contract heeft een initiële looptijd van vier jaar, met de mogelijkheid tot verlenging met maximaal drie periodes van 24 maanden. Er is ook ruimte voor uitbreidingen naar andere IND-locaties, afhankelijk van de toekomstige behoefte en beleidsontwikkelingen.
