La República del Ecuador a través del Ministerio de Educación, Deporte y Cultura ha recibido financiamiento del Banco Mundial para cubrir el costo del Proyecto "Fortalecimiento de la Resiliencia de las Escuelas Ecuatorianas", y tiene la intención de aplicar parte de los fondos a la contratación de servicios de consultoría.
Los servicios de consultoría ("los Servicios") incluyen: Asesorar la implementación del Proyecto, velando por el cumplimiento de las cláusulas del Contrato de Préstamo, las Regulaciones de Adquisiciones para Prestatarios en Proyectos de Inversión de Bienes, Obras, Servicios de No-Consultoría y Servicios de Consultoría, Manual Operativo del Proyecto y demás normativa legal vigente; y, revisar los aspectos jurídicos de todas las actividades concernientes a la ejecución del Proyecto, para la correcta ejecución en las etapas preparatoria, precontractual, contractual, ejecución y liquidación de bienes y servicios, obras, incluidos consultorías, entre otros.

El Ministerio de Educación, Deporte y Cultura, invita a los consultores individuales elegibles a mostrar su interés en proporcionar los servicios, entregando su Hoja de Vida en la forma y condiciones establecidas en los documentos del proceso de contratación.
Los Consultores interesados deben proporcionar información que demuestre que tienen las calificaciones requeridas y la experiencia relevante para prestar los servicios requeridos.
Se llama la atención sobre la Sección III, párrafos 3.15 y 3.16 de las "Regulaciones de Adquisiciones para Prestatarios para PFI" del Banco Mundial ("Regulaciones de Adquisiciones"), que establece la política del Banco Mundial sobre conflictos de intereses.
Los Consultores serán seleccionados con base en el método de Selección Abierta Nacional de Consultores Individuales descrito en las Regulaciones antes mencionadas.
