Description

Die Stadt Wetzikon beabsichtigt die qualitätsvolle Weiterentwicklung des Zentrums Oberwetzikon. Das Projekt umfasst die Liegenschaften an der Bahnhofstrasse 155, 157 und 159 und bildet einen wesentlichen Baustein dieser Transformation. Gegenstand des Auftrags ist die Erarbeitung eines ganzheitlichen architektonischen und städtebaulichen Konzepts für das bestehende Ensemble. Ziel ist die nachhaltige Stärkung des historischen Dorfkerns in räumlicher, architektonischer und funktionaler Hinsicht. Das Gebäude Bahnhofstrasse 155 ist Bestandteil des kommunalen Inventars schützenwerter Bauten und soll bewahrt werden. Die Eingriffstiefe für die Sanierung ist noch offen und zusammen mit dem Ersatzneubau festzulegen. Für die Liegenschaften Bahnhofstrasse 157 und 159 ist ein Ersatzneubau mit ortstypischer Silhouette und erweitertem Fussabdruck zu realisieren. Der Ersatzneubau ist als Gewerbeliegenschaft zu konzipieren.
