Planning for the replacement new construction of pumping station 352 and associated peripheral systems at the Ronneburg site in the Ronneburg remediation area of Wismut GmbH, service phase 8 of object and specialist planning

Wismut GmbH operates a water treatment plant (hereinafter referred to as WBA) and extensive dewatering systems (hereinafter referred to as WHA) in the Ronneburg remediation area at the Ronneburg site for the extraction and treatment of contaminated seepage, pore, pit, and surface water, with subsequent discharge into the receiving water body. The technical systems required for the long-term assurance of water collection and water treatment at the Ronneburg site must be adapted in terms of performance for long-term operation beyond 2035, optimized energetically, and made resistant to damage from vandalism, environmental, and climate influences. These systems include pumping station 352. It has been in operation since 1990 with almost no modifications. Due to the progress of remediation, the water inflow to the pumping station has significantly decreased in recent years. For long-term operation, the pumping station is oversized. The structure as well as the building shell do not meet the requirements for a pumping station to be maintained long-term. Due to remediation-related changes in the terrain morphology (e.g., spoil heap removal) and the creation of surface water drainage, the arrangement and positioning of the pumping station must be reconsidered in terms of flood protection. The engineering firm commissioned with the planning has gone bankrupt. The planning firm has provided the following planning services: service areas landscaping, structural engineering, civil engineering structures, and technical equipment in service phases 1 - 6. For service phase 8, a follow-up contract for the planned construction work is required. Service phases 7 and 9 will be provided by the client.
