The Flemish public broadcaster VRT is seeking a partner to deliver an online fundraising platform for its annual 'De Warmste Week' (The Warmest Week) campaign. This platform will serve as a central hub for participants, enabling activists and charities to manage their involvement and upload campaign details. Key functionalities required include the registration of fundraising actions and tracking of their proceeds, with the platform facilitating the transfer of these funds, preferably through online payment methods. It must also support easy donation processing, including via QR codes, to specific actions or the campaign as a whole. A crucial feature is a payment API that can be integrated into other 'De Warmste Week' online assets, such as the 'Request a Song' feature. The system needs to allow for straightforward monitoring of whether volunteers have transferred their action proceeds. Furthermore, data collected on the platform must be exportable to other internal VRT platforms. Automated emails will keep users informed about their campaigns and payments. Given the platform's intensive use by supporters, media teams (radio, online, TV), the call center, and the King Baudouin Foundation, it must be robust enough to handle high volumes. Accessibility for people with disabilities is mandatory for all visitor-facing components. Security is paramount due to the significant amount of personal data handled by the platform, which forms the basis for media content creation related to the campaign.
