"Ponitrie Cycle Route Phase II – Part 1 (Section 2 Nesvady - Martovce)"

The subject of the project is the construction of a cycling route in the Nesvady – Martovce section, mainly by modifying the crown of protective dikes. The structure is vertically adapted to the existing height of the used objects - the crown of the protective dike. In connection with the construction of the cycling communication, no relocation of engineering networks is considered, however, during site reconnaissance, it was found that engineering lines – both aerial and underground – are located on the construction site. Before starting construction work, the investor must ensure their marking and the marking of protection zones by the network administrators, as well as obtain a new permit from the administrators of these networks. The total length of the Nesvady – Martovce route is 7.742 km. The created route with a paved (asphalt) surface for cycle tourism will have a width of 3.0 m, by widening the crown of the protective dike (a requirement from the water management object administrator). The administrator of the affected objects – protective dikes is the Slovak Water Management Enterprise, state enterprise. The operator of the proposed cycle route will be the builder. The construction will affect the inundation area of the watercourse – Stará Nitra. Its protection line will also be affected. The contractor of construction works, if required by the administrator of the water management object, will have to prepare a flood plan for the security works of the construction contractor. The flood plan must be approved by the administrator of significant watercourses (SVP, š. p.). The flood plan will be approved by the locally competent district office – for the subject construction, it is the District Office Komárno.
