Lot 1: Hermannstraße HMS to Heinrich-Heine Straße He Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe is modernizing and digitizing its control and signaling technology with CBTC (Communications-Based Train Control) on subway line U8. For this purpose, cable and cable support work will be carried out at the Hermannstraße, Leinestraße, Boddinstraße, Hermannplatz, Schönleinstraße, Kottbusser Tor, Moritzplatz and Heinrich-Heine-Straße subway stations and tunnel sections. The total length is approx. 5600 m and is divided into 9 tunnel sections with 4400 m and 8 stations with a total length of 1200 m. Hermannstraße HMS: Two layers of cable routing according to BVG standard are to be renewed under the platform over approx. 10 m. For this purpose, all cables must be removed from the cable routing and reinserted after the support work is completed. On the Hermannstraße tunnel section to Leinestraße on track 1, old cables are to be bundled, dismantled, and new cable trays are to be mounted to create space for new cables. This concerns cable and cable support work on the tunnel wall and at the ceiling transitions. New traverses and KHI's for cable routing on the tunnel ceiling are to be mounted at the ceiling transition and old KDA 2 are to be dismantled. For this purpose, cables must be removed and reinserted and bundled after the support work is completed. An additional layer of P-Bahn is to be renewed over approx. 30 m. Leinestraße L: Under the platform, the complete cable routing on track 1 is to be dismantled and all cables are to be laid in a cable duct laid by the contractor during construction. Subsequently, a 5-layer cable routing according to BVG standard must be built and all cables from the duct must be laid in the new routing. On the Leinestraße tunnel section to Boddinstraße on track 1, old cables are to be bundled and dismantled on the tunnel wall and at the ceiling transitions to create space for new cables. At the ceiling transition from Leinestraße to Boddinstraße track 1, new traverses and KHI's as well as a new P-Bahn are to be mounted over approx. 15 m. For this purpose, signal cables must be removed, dismantled, and reinserted and bundled after the support work is completed. At the emergency exits on the tunnel section, old cable routing elements must also be adapted and new cable trays must be mounted.
