Description

This UK2 Preliminary Market Engagement Notice is issued by the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) on behalf of the Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), the contracting authority, to notify the market of its intention to undertake preliminary market engagement in relation to a forthcoming procurement for Vehicle Recovery and Roadside Assistance Services.
The PME is intended to provide potential suppliers with early market awareness of the proposed requirement, indicative scope, lotting approach, estimated value, intended procurement route and indicative procurement timetable. The MPS currently intends to conduct the future procurement under the Procurement Act 2023 using the competitive flexible procedure. A UK2 Preliminary Market Engagement Notice is used to provide information about how a contracting authority will engage, or has engaged, with suppliers before the formal tender notice is published.
The PME will be hosted through the MPS eTendering platform, Coupa.
