Description
The police need two puppies. One for the patrol dog and one for the combi dog (search/patrol). It is desirable that the puppies come from lines with great hunting and fighting, as well as great search excruciation. We would like to have immediate delivery, at the latest in May 2026. Tenders with delivery at the desired time frame will be weighted positively, other delivery times are not disqualifying. The probationary period requirement only applies to individuals with age 3 - 6 months. Patrol dogs have education in search of people in different environments and search for objects it smells of people of. Furthermore, the patrol dogs are approved as a means of power and can be used in the apprehension of persons in different types of environments. There are some dogs with additional competence in the form of drug searches, weapons searches, lavine searches (winter education), USAR and criminal searches within the patrol dog category. The patrol dogs shall be socially stable, have good prey and must be environmentally strong. The current breeds are mainly based on Schæfer and Malinois, as well as blends of them. Search dogs have education in responding and highlighting the different types of odour pictures in different environments. In the search dogs category, dogs are trained to search for, for example, but not limited to drugs, flammable fluids, explosives, blood, semen, currency, weapons, buried corpses and corpses. The dogs must be able to work in different types of environments such as, among other things, inside, outside, height, darkness, movable surfaces and dark surfaces and dark surfaces. The search dog shall tolerate the mental stress this can cause. The breed currently used for combi search dogs/patrol dogs is mainly based on Malinois. The final approval and sufficient financing are subject to signing of the contract before the contract is signed.
