REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR PROCUREMENT OF THREE (3) COASTER BUSES FOR INSTITUTIONS UNDER THE UGANDA SKILLS DEVELOPMENT IN REFUGEE AND HOST COMMUNITIES (USDRH) PROJECT

  1. The Government of the Republic of Uganda has received financing from the Dutch Government multi-donor program to be used for the acquisition of three (3) Coaster Buses for Institutions under the Uganda Skills Development in Refugee and Host Communities (USDRH).
  1. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
  1. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003, and is open to all bidders.
  1. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
  1. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below at 7(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be through obtaining a Bank Payment Advise Form from the cashier on 5th Floor, Embassy House and pay at the designated Bank. On presentation of proof of payment, bidding documents may then be collected from the address at 7(a) or sent by email as may be preferred by the bidder.
  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7(c) at or before 11:30am on 18th June, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of UGX 7,200,000 (Uganda Shillings Seven Million Two hundred thousand only). Bid securities must be valid until 28th October, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d) at 11:45am on 18th June, 2026.
  1. There shall not be a pre – bid meeting.
