- The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project phase II (DRDIP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Agricultural Mechanization Machineries with their Installations for DRDIP II Implementation.
- The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following goods.

- Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures shall follow the Open and Competitive Bidding procedure set forth in the Ethiopian Federal Government and Procurement and Property Administration Proclamation No. 1333/2024 and the Federal Public procurement Directive number 1073/2025 issued in May 2025. Provided that such procedure shall be subject to the provisions of the “Procurement Regulations” for Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers” July1, 2016 as amended from time to time up to Seventh Edition, September 2025 “Procurement Regulations” and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ministry of Agriculture and inspect the bidding documents during office hours from 8:30AM to 5:30PM at the address given below.
- A complete set of bidding documents in the English language may be obtained by interested eligible bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below, without payment for the bid document.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 16, 2026@ 10:00AM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on June 16, 2026 @ 10:10 AM.
- All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security “specified on Paragraph No. 2 above.
- Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
