Procurement of electronic equipment for PIU "The World Bank"

Reference No.: ESTART/RFQ/2026-1

1. The Government of Uzbekistan has received financing from the International Development Association (the Bank) toward the cost of the Electricity Sector Transformation and Resilient Transmission (ESTART) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) including electronic equipment under ESTART project.

2. The objective of supplying personal computers and other electronic equipment (“the Service”) is to provide PMU office equipment with high quality.

3. It is envisaged that the service will take 5 days to complete from the date of Contract signing. The detailed Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the service can be downloaded on the below link:

4. National Electric Grid of Uzbekistan (NEGU) now invites eligible firms to provide their technical and financial proposals. The best-qualified firms to carry out the services will be selected in accordance with the Request for quotation (RFQ) Selection method set out in the Procurement Regulations. Following this invitation, a comparison list of firms with their quotes will be prepared and the most qualified firm with least cost will be Contract Awarded.

5. The attention of interested firms is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” September 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. Consultants may associate with other firms to enhance their qualifications but should indicate clearly whether the association is in the form of a joint venture and/or a sub-consultancy. In the case of a joint venture, all the partners in the joint venture shall be jointly and severally liable for the entire contract, if selected.
