- The Ministry of Health (MoH) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Quality Essential Health Services and Systems Support Project (QEHSSSP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of Pharmaceutical Products. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the Purchaser deem fit to pay through the designated Project Account.
2. The Integrated Health Projects Administration Unit of the Ministry of Health now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of Pharmaceutical Products. The description of the goods can be accessed upon request to aujalloh@mohsihpau.gov.sl). The goods are to be delivered within four months upon signing of the contract. The goods are to be delivered to the Government of Sierra Leone National Medical Store outlet at New England Ville. No margin of preference is applicable.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the using the Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement in Investment Project Financing – Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services (dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017, August 2018, November 2020, September 2023 and February 2025), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
