  1. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has received credit from the International Development Association (IDA) of the World Bank Group toward the cost of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the ā€œProcurement of Specialized Museum Showcases for the upgradation of the Museum at Hund, District Swabi.ā€ through this Request for Bid (RFB).

2. The Project Management Unit (PMU) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project (KITE) invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the procurement of Specialized Museum Showcases for the upgradation of the Museum at Hund, District Swabi.

3. Bidding will be conducted through a Single Stage Two-Envelope Bidding Process following the National Market Approach using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s ā€œProcurement Regulations for IPF Borrowersā€ July 2016 (Revised November 2017 and August 2018) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Procurement Section at Email procurement.kite@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours. 0900 to 1700 hours at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in English Language may be downloaded by interested Bidders upon completion of an online form on the website: www.kite.gkp.pk

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 22, 2026, at 1400hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The outer Bid envelopes marked ā€œOriginal Bidā€, and the inner envelopes marked ā€œTechnical Partā€ will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below. All envelopes marked ā€œSecond Envelope: Financial Partā€ shall remain unopened and will be held in safe custody of the Purchaser until the second public opening.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a ā€œBid Securityā€ of Pakistani Rupees One Million (PKR 1.0 million) or equivalent amount in other foreign currencies (US $, EURO, etc.)

8. A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 29, 2026, at 1400hrs (Pakistan Standard Time) in the office of the Project Director, PMU KITE at the address given below and can be attended electronically using the Zoom meeting invitation link https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85848326334?pwd=CcvtZxoWPhed4VWkjAgcViW9THWJ6D.1

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
