- The Government of Tajikistan has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Strengthening Resilience of the Agriculture Sector Project (SRASP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for “Procurement of warehouse handling equipment for the ALCs located in the Balkhi district and Khuajnd city".
2. The State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of warehouse handling equipment for the ALCs located in the Balkhi district and Khuajnd city.
3. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” dated July 2016, revised September 2023 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the State Institute “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 8:00 AM to 17:00 PM at the address given below.
5. The full package of bidding document in Russian may be obtained by interested Bidders upon the submission of an official letter to the address below. The document will be sent by the AED PMU procurement email.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below by July 10, 2026 15:30 hrs. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on July 10, 2026 15:40 hrs.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of a bank guarantee in the amount of TJS 50,000.00 (fifty thousand) Tajik Somoni;
8. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
