Production of a short video on the ILO Director-General’s visit to the Gadani ship recycling yards

Agency: ILO | Reference: rfx_11231_ROAP | Type: Request for quotation The contractor will work closely with the ILO Communications Officer and relevant project colleagues to undertake the following tasks: Pre-production • Participate in a briefing with the ILO Communications Officer and relevant project colleagues. • Review the concept note, programme of the visit, proposed script or talking points, key messages and relevant background material. • Develop a filming plan and shot list in consultation with the ILO. • Coordinate with the ILO on filming locations, access requirements and the schedule for the visit. • Plan the filming set-up for the Director-General’s piece to camera to ensure that it can be recorded efficiently and with minimal disruption to the official programme. • Review and follow relevant ILO branding, videography and consent guidelines. Filming • Accompany the Director-General during the visit to the Gadani ship recycling yards. • Film a short piece to camera by the Director-General at the ship recycling yard. • Capture high-quality footage of the Director-General’s engagement with workers, employers and other participants. • Capture strong contextual footage and B-roll of the ship recycling yards, work processes, workers and relevant occupational safety and health measures. • Ensure professional audio, lighting and image quality under field conditions. • Coordinate closely with the ILO Communications Officer during filming to ensure that the required footage is captured within the time available. • Obtain written or on-camera consent from identifiable interview subjects, where required, in accordance with ILO guidelines. • Ensure the respectful and responsible representation of workers and workplaces.
