The town of Frankenberg/Sa. (approx. 14,083 inhabitants) is re-tendering the production (layout/typesetting/printing) and distribution of its official gazette to all households in the town. This tender is for the conclusion of a framework agreement. The contract includes the creation and printing of at least 6 and at most 12 issues of the official gazette per calendar year. Currently, the official gazette is published on average monthly with a regular editorial scope of 13 to 15 pages plus cover page (excluding advertising section). All households in the town of Frankenberg/Sa. receive the official gazette free of charge. The editorial content for the municipal newsletter (excluding advertising section) is provided by the town administration, and the press law responsibility lies with the town of Frankenberg/Sa. The bidder is responsible for selling advertisements independently. The advertising section must always be placed at the end and separate from the official part of the newsletter. The aim of the tender is to award a complete package to a service provider. Currently, the official gazette is published in both print and web versions.
