Description:YKAN is inviting eligible Individual Consultant to submit proposal for the following scope of work:Project BackgroundYayasan Konservasi Alam Nusantara (YKAN) is a science-based non-profit organization that has been operating in Indonesia since 2014. With a mission to protect terrestrial and marine ecosystems as life-support systems, YKAN provides innovative solutions to foster harmony between nature and people through effective natural resource management, non-confrontational approaches, and partnerships with all stakeholders to support a sustainable Indonesia.One of YKAN’s flagship initiatives is the Koralestari Program. The Koralestari Program aims to address the decline in coral reef health in Indonesia caused by unsustainable fisheries and aquaculture practices, uncontrolled coastal development, land- and marine-based pollution, the impacts of climate change, and invasive species. The program will be implemented from 2024 to 2029 across three priority regions: Berau in East Kalimantan, the Savu Sea in East Nusa Tenggara, and Lingga Island in the Riau Islands Province. Through the Koralestari Program, YKAN collaborates with government agencies, the private sector, and local communities to promote the sustainable management of coastal and marine resources.The implementation of the Koralestari Program involves a diverse portfolio of activities across multiple workstreams, including planning and coordination, stakeholder engagement, capacity building, procurement and grant management, monitoring and reporting, as well as financial and operational administration. Effective implementation of these activities requires strong administrative and operational support to ensure that program processes are well coordinated, properly documented, and implemented in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.To support these needs, YKAN seeks to engage a Koralestari Program Support Consultant who will provide administrative, operational, and coordination support to the program team and contribute to the effective delivery of program activities and outputs.Objectives/Purposes of the Assignment:YKAN is seeking a qualified Individual Consultant as Koralestari Program Support Consultant.For further details on the Scope of Work, please refer to the Terms of Reference available attachedIMPORTAN TIMELINES.The proposal submission deadline is listed on this page.
