Zo zijn wij verantwoordelijk voor het schrijven en evalueren van Natura2000beheerplannen, voor het ontwikkelen van beleid van het regionale watersysteem en voor het grondwatersysteem, voor het ontwikkelen van beleid voor stedelijk
waterbeheer en voor het bewaken van de Limburgse natuur- en waterbelangen middenin de Euregio.
