Projectmanager Brainport Bike Week 2026

Opdrachtgever: Metropoolregio Eindhoven

Brainport Bereikbaar werkt aan een ambitieuze modal shift: in 2030 moeten dagelijks 17.500 mensen anders dan met de auto naar werk reizen. De Brainport Bike Week (BBW) is een strategisch evenement binnen deze opgave en fungeert als katalysator voor gedrags- en cultuurverandering. Na een pilot in 2025 wordt de Brainport Bike Week in 2026 doorontwikkeld tot een professioneel, meerdaags event (10 dagen) met structurele impact. De ambitie is om de Brainport-regio richting 2035 te positioneren als internationale fietsmetropool, waarbij de fiets de default wordt voor woon-werkverkeer tot 15 kilometer. De Brainport Bike Week is nadrukkelijk g??n losstaand evenement, maar onderdeel van de bredere werkgevers-, gedrags- en gebiedsaanpak van Brainport Bereikbaar. Er is dan ook een sterke wisselwerking op de doelstellingen, werkzaamheden en personele bezetting in de bredere opgave van Brainport Bereikbaar. De opgave in BrainportDe Metropoolregio Eindhoven (MRE) staat voor een schaalsprong in de fysieke leefomgeving. De 21 gemeenten in onze regio werken samen aan de grote opgaven van deze tijd: voldoende en betaalbare woningen, een goed functionerend mobiliteitssysteem, toekomstbestendige energie-infrastructuur en hoogwaardige werklocaties. Brainport Bereikbaar is een tijdelijk programma (tot 2030) en focust primair op het realiseren van structurele gedragsverandering. We werken samen met bedrijven, onderwijsinstellingen en overheden aan concrete oplossingen zoals hubs, deelmobiliteit, fietsstimulering en collectief vervoer. Het programmateam bestaat uit circa 28 professionals: programmamanager, projectleiders, marketing- en communicatieadviseurs, mobiliteitsmakelaars en gedrags- en dataspecialisten.
