Project management agency "Medical Technology and Health Technologies" of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR)

The aim of the tender is to commission a project management agency (PT) that will support the responsible specialist department of the Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR) in implementing funding measures in the field of medical technology, both technically and administratively, in all phases of project funding. This includes, in particular, advising interested parties and applicants, reviewing applications and approving or rejecting grants/allocations, including assessment by expert committees, as well as providing support during the project duration up to the verification of the use of funds. In addition to the further development of funding priorities (e.g., by monitoring national, European, and international funding measures), the support of the contracting authority also includes the dissemination of results through specialist communication. Furthermore, the administrative-technical support and guidance of projects and participating partners, who are selected and funded within the framework of already ongoing measures, are tasks of the contractor. This also includes monitoring and communicating the activities and results of such measures, as well as supporting transfer activities. In addition, the contractor will provide technical support to the contracting authority in the preparation of subject-specific contributions and in answering relevant inquiries of any kind (from the German Bundestag, the media, the public, etc.).
