Project Insurance DSD Starter Package Scan-Med- Munich

The project section concerned belongs to the DSD Starter Package "Passability of the Scandinavia-Mediterranean Corridor" (Scan-Med). The project concerned by DB InfraGO AG as part of the DSD Starter Package includes the equipment of the Scan-Med Munich corridor with DStW technology and ETCS Level 2 without signals (L2oS), it is divided into 2 sections, line 5510 Munich - Rosenheim and line 5703 Rosenheim - Freilassing. The investment sum for this project is estimated at approx. EUR 600.0 million. Of this, approx. EUR 13.5 million have already been invoiced under an existing contract. The insurance contract newly tendered here will replace the existing contract. Construction is currently planned until 31.12.2031. The insurance contract begins after the end of the tender procedure with the date of award, following a currently existing preliminary coverage. (Type M) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is EUR 25,000,000 lump sum for personal injury, property damage and financial loss, including the benefits from environmental liability insurance. In planning liability insurance, a separate sum insured per claim of EUR 10,000,000 lump sum for property damage and financial loss is available. The aforementioned sums are maximized three times. The Extended Maintenance in the part of construction performance and assembly insurance is 42 months. The subsequent liability is 10 years in liability insurance, and 5 years in environmental liability and environmental damage insurance. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. In the case of extended planning coverage, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
