Project Insurance for New Converter Station Stendal

DB Energie GmbH is planning the construction of the Stendal converter station. The investment volume for this project is estimated at EUR 111.454 million. Of this, approximately EUR 15 million has already been invoiced under an existing contract. The insurance contract newly tendered here will replace the existing contract. Construction is currently planned to last until April 27, 2029. The insurance contract will begin after the tender process concludes, on the date of the award, following a currently existing preliminary coverage. (Type M) In liability insurance, the sum insured per claim is EUR 25,000,000 lump sum for personal injury, property damage, and financial loss, including environmental liability insurance benefits. In professional liability insurance, a separate sum insured per claim of EUR 10,000,000 lump sum for property damage and financial loss is available. The aforementioned sums are maximized threefold. The Extended Maintenance in the construction and assembly insurance part amounts to 42 months. The tail coverage is 10 years for liability insurance and 5 years for environmental liability and environmental damage insurance. The general deductible is at least EUR 25,000. There is no deductible for personal injury. Extended planning coverage is included in professional liability insurance. Within the scope of extended planning coverage, the deductible is EUR 100,000.
