The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks expressions of interest from qualified and experienced courier service providers for the provision of domestic and international courier services, including diplomatic pouch handling, express document and parcel delivery, and related logistics support services.
The services will support operations in Somalia and Kenya and may be made available to other eligible United Nations entities.
The scope of services includes collection, transportation, tracking, customs facilitation where applicable, and delivery of diplomatic pouches, documents, parcels, medical shipments, and small cargo consignments on a door-to-door and/or door-to-airport basis.
Service providers shall be capable of ensuring shipment security, traceability, timely delivery, and compliance with applicable international transport regulations and United Nations requirements.
Interested firms should demonstrate relevant experience in providing comparable courier and logistics services, established operational capacity in Kenya and Somalia, international delivery network coverage, and the ability to provide online shipment tracking and customer support services
