Description
Angus Council and the Angus Health and Social Care Partnership have reviewed their current Framework for the provision of personal care, support and care and housing support (including home-based respite services) under SDS Option 3 within the homes of supported people in
Angus.
This notice is to flag up the forthcoming procurement exercise to establish a new framework, commencing 01 April 2027. This is an opportunity for providers in the Care at Home sector to tender for various Lots within the new framework.
This Prior Information Notice is sent out in advance of the Contract Notice and Invitation to Tender for care and support services which will follow on 27 July 2026 or thereafter.
Interested Parties should note interest in this project through this notice on PCS no later than 12 noon on 10 July 2026.
The Contract Notice and Invitation to Tender will be open to all tenderers on this website on 27 July 2026 or thereafter.
The new Framework will run for four years with options to extend for a further three years and then a further two years.
The estimated values in this notice are based on the Framework running for a total of nine years.
Adults aged 16 and over who have a diagnosed learning disability and who require support with a variety of needs within their home and in the community.
Adults aged 16 and over who have mental health and/or substance misuse issues and who require support with a variety of needs within their home and in the community. Mostly housing support, support and care but with some personal care requirements as necessary.
Adults aged 16 and over who have a physical disability or acquired brain injury and who require support with personal care and/or non-personal care within their home and in the community Additional information: The aim of the service is to provide person-centred, outcome-focused care and support to Angus residents, in line with Self-Directed Support legislation and complemented by a comprehensive, predefined pricing model.
