Conducting research work as an API and Data Processing Engineer

The subject of the order is the selection of a legal entity or natural person who will perform work as an API and Data Processing Engineer in a project aimed at developing a system for comprehensive video streaming analysis based on sports events using proprietary, advanced tools supporting transcription, statistics, and image processing and analysis components using deep learning algorithms. In the case of natural persons not running a business, the form of cooperation will be a mandate contract/contract for specific work, in other cases - a service contract. Detailed scope of services: Task 1 Development of tools and datasets (estimated implementation period: months 1-9 from the date of signing the agreement): - construction and maintenance of an API for handling video data and analysis results; - design and development of APIs for receiving video materials from recording devices and returning processed analytical data, statistics, and descriptions generated by AI models; - development of the endpoint structure supporting data transmission and retrieval while maintaining communication integrity and consistency; - adaptation of the API to the requirements of working with low-quality materials and supporting data integration from various sources. Task 2 Development and implementation of algorithms (estimated implementation period: months 10-19 from the date of signing the agreement): - support for various data formats and version control of analysis results; - implementation of mechanisms for handling and converting data in JSON, CSV, and TXT formats used at various stages of analysis; - development of standards for recording results from ML models and preparation of an output data versioning system, enabling their comparison and testing between iterations; - responsible for preparing data structures that allow for unambiguous representation of on-field events and their textual representation. Task 3 Operationalization of models and integration with the Ordering Party's development infrastructure (estimated implementation period: months 20-23 from the date of signing the agreement): - integration of the API with frontend components and AI models; - responsible for integrating the API layer with frontend components (user interfaces) and backend AI models; - configuring communication between services responsible for image analysis, description generation, and results presentation; - jointly with FE and ML teams, testing data structure compliance, call stability, and correctness of result synchronization within a single match; - development of error handling logic and input data validation. Estimated average number of working hours per month: 168 h. The estimated number of hours may increase or decrease depending on the Ordering Party's needs regarding project implementation and research work within the project. Estimated contract duration: 23 months. Due to the R&D project being subject to research risk, the Ordering Party reserves the right to potentially extend or shorten the engagement period for the position (including changing the implementation dates of individual project tasks) and to terminate the contract during its term. Supplementary orders: The Ordering Party foresees the possibility of granting a supplementary order with a value not exceeding 50% of the basic order. Contract change conditions: The Ordering Party foresees the possibility of making the following changes to the concluded agreement: a) change in remuneration in case of changes in VAT rates or other mandatory public law charges independent of the Contractor and the Ordering Party; b) extension or shortening of the contract execution period: - for reasons attributable to the Ordering Party; - in case of failure to meet the original contract execution deadline due to circumstances impossible to foresee and independent of the Contractor (e.g., force majeure, natural disaster, social unrest, military actions); - in case of justified changes in the method of execution of the subject of the order, objective reasons independent of the Ordering Party or the Contractor; - in case of receiving a decision from the project financing unit containing changes in the scope of tasks, implementation deadlines, or establishing additional provisions to which the Ordering Party will be obliged; c) in case of changes in generally applicable legal provisions affecting the execution of the subject of the order/agreement or the parties' performance; d) changes in the Agreement or its termination may occur when circumstances impossible to foresee at the initial assumption stage arise during the conducted research; e) the agreement may be amended in any case referred to in subsection 3.2.4 point 4) letters a) – e) of the Guidelines on the eligibility of expenditure for 2021-2027; f) if, during the execution of the Agreement, it turns out that the method of execution of the Subject of the Agreement or the Subject of the Agreement itself must be changed due to objective technical or economic reasons, and the failure to change the method of execution of the Subject of the Agreement would threaten its effective use in the Project, the Parties may change the method of execution of the Agreement, as well as the Subject of the Agreement.
