Framework agreement for interpreting services

This tender seeks to establish a framework agreement for the provision of interpreting services. The primary focus is on supporting asylum seekers housed in the LUK (Landesunterkünfte) facilities, where the State Office for Immigration and Refugees (LaZuF) acts as the responsible immigration authority. Interpreting services are required for alien law support and for the medical services provided by the Medical Service within these state accommodations. Additionally, the framework agreement may cover optional interpreting services for current and future tasks of the LaZuF. This includes, but is not limited to, project-related interpreting, support for the State Office's repatriation measures, and translation activities.

The scope of services encompasses interpreting for a range of languages. Currently, commonly required languages include Arabic, Sorani, Farsi, Kurmanji, Dari, Turkish, Russian/Ukrainian, and Armenian. Frequent assignments are also noted for English, Tigrinia, Amharic, Tuvi, Georgian, Somali, and Serbian. Occasional interpreting needs arise for languages such as French, Spanish, Albanian, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Igbo, Bosnian, Romani, Macedonian, Hausa, and Vietnamese.

The maximum budget allocated for this framework agreement over its potential four-year term is €60,000,000. The contract will automatically terminate upon reaching this budget ceiling, even if the full contract duration has not elapsed. There is no minimum purchase obligation, and billing will be based on services actually rendered.
