Framework agreement for planning/construction of up to 25 Digital Control Centers with control rooms (DSZ) The subject of the award is the conclusion of a framework agreement, available throughout Germany, for the site-specific execution planning and turnkey construction of standardized Digital Control Centers (DSZ) of DB InfraGO AG. The framework agreement includes three building variants with 14, 20, or 28 workstations, as well as the associated structural engineering, structural analysis, building services, ICT, and external facility services. It creates the basis for efficiently implementing standardized individual calls based on uniform functional and planning specifications. Site-specific particularities, especially regarding foundations, development, and external facilities, will be taken into account through supplementary service items in the individual calls. As part of the nationwide rollout of digital interlocking technology, DB InfraGO AG is pursuing the further digitalization of railway infrastructure. A central element of this target state is Digital Control Centers as modern control rooms for managing train traffic. Within the scope of the present project, the execution planning and turnkey construction of up to 25 control centers nationwide is planned. The subject of the award includes planning and construction services. These include, in particular, the creation of site-specific execution plans based on a sample design plan provided by DB InfraGO AG and the subsequent turnkey construction of the buildings. Implementation is planned for the period from 2027 to 2030; additionally, an option to extend the framework agreement for two years is foreseen. The Digital Control Centers are designed as highly available, functional, and modern working environments. They include control rooms with workstations for train traffic control, situation centers, office spaces, technical rooms, and social areas with changing rooms and sanitary facilities. The goal is to create working environments with high demands on functionality, ergonomics, and quality of stay. Three standardized building variants are available for the structural implementation, covering capacities from 14 to 28 workstations. The types are distinguished as Type 14 with 14 workstations, 10² with 20 workstations, and 14² with 28 workstations. Type 14 has two upper floors, while Types 10² and 14² are three-story. Functionally, the buildings are divided into technical and social areas on the ground floor, and control rooms and office spaces on the upper floors.
