Open procedure for the conclusion of a framework agreement for the digitization of materials for the Digital German Women's Archive. Presentation of the client: The umbrella organization of German-language women's/lesbian archives, libraries, and documentation centers (i.d.a.) operates its own online presence and a directory of holdings (META catalog) as part of its public relations and information policy. This metadata catalog includes the holdings data of all member institutions and makes them searchable for interested internet users. In the course of the project funded by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Seniors, Women and Youth, the i.d.a. umbrella organization developed the "Digital German Women's Archive" (DDF) and launched it online on September 13, 2018. For the first time, collected information on the history of the women's movement is digitized here and presented to the public. The DDF thus provides the basis for research, education, and information work and makes an important contribution to equality and gender policy.
