Framework agreement on security services in the public area of Düsseldorf Airport with an initial term of two years

Düsseldorf Airport is the fourth largest airport in the Federal Republic of Germany. The annual passenger volume for the year 2025 was approximately 21 million passengers. Ensuring safety, order, and smooth operations in the public area is therefore a central task of Flughafen Düsseldorf Security GmbH. The subject of the tender is the needs-based provision of security services in the publicly accessible area of Düsseldorf Airport for an initial term of two years. The services include, in particular, patrols, access controls, traffic management, event and fire protection security, as well as other supporting security tasks. Qualified and readily available security personnel must be provided for this purpose. The goal is to support the contracting authority in maintaining safety and order in the public area of the airport. The maximum value that can be called up under this framework agreement (max. term 8 years) is 405,172 hours. The framework agreement is initially firmly concluded for the period 01.01.2027 to 31.12.2028. It will automatically extend by up to 6 times for a further year (12 months) until 31.12.2034 at the latest, unless terminated by one of the parties with six (6) months' notice prior to the respective contract end.
