Framework agreement for recurring inspection of ladders and steps

Therefore, please use exclusively the contact details of the tendering institution from the announcement when you: The Universitätsklinikum Magdeburg A.ö.R. intends to have the visual and functional inspection of ladders and steps carried out by an external service provider in the future, in accordance with the Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (BetrSichV) and DGUV Information 208-016. The subject of the framework agreement is the professional, recurring inspection (visual and functional inspection) of ladders and steps in accordance with the aforementioned regulations. The inspections must be carried out by a "qualified person". Scope of services: - Recording and inventory: If not already done by the client, record all ladders and steps to be inspected in an inventory list/inspection book, stating the location, type, manufacturer, material, and inventory number. - Visual and functional inspection: Inspection of all components for wear, damage, deformation, and corrosion (e.g., stiles, rungs/steps, joints, spreader lock, ladder feet, labeling/pictograms). - Documentation: Creation of a legally compliant inspection protocol (inspection report) for each piece of equipment. - Labeling: Affixing a valid inspection sticker (month/year of next inspection) to the inspected equipment. - Defect report: The contractor will provide a list of the inspected equipment, classified as "ladder/step, etc. OK", "repair required", or "immediately to be discarded". Technical requirements and regulations The execution must strictly comply with the currently applicable regulations: - Betriebssicherheitsverordnung (BetrSichV) - DGUV Information 208-016 (formerly BGI 694) - DIN EN 131 (ladders) and DIN EN 14183 (steps) Qualification of the inspector The contractor must prove that the performing persons possess the technical qualification as a "qualified person" according to TRBS 1203 (completed vocational training, relevant professional experience, and recent professional activity).
