Betriebsärzte und Fachkräfte für Arbeitssicherheit sind nach den §§ 1 bis 7 i. V. m. § 16 ArbSichG/ASiG, der Unfallverhütungsvorschrift DGUV Vorschrift 2 der Unfallkasse NRW und der Verordnung zur arbeitsmedizinischen Vorsorge (Arb-MedVV) zur Wahrnehmung der in den §§ 3 und 6 des Arbeitssicherheitsgesetzes bezeichneten Aufgaben zu bestellen. Der Brandschutzbeauftragte soll organisatorische Brandschutzmaßnahmen festlegen und sich dabei an der VFDB (Richtlinie der Vereinigung zur Förderung des Deutschen Brandschutzes) Richtlinie orientieren. Die Beauftragung des Betriebsarztes (BA), der Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FfA) und des Brandschutzbeauftragten dient der Einhaltung gesetzlicher Anforderungen. Die Hochschule für Polizei und öffentliche Verwaltung NRW beabsichtigt, zur Einhaltung der o. g. gesetzlichen Vorgaben auf dem Gebiet des Arbeits-, Brand- und Gesundheitsschutzes, entsprechend § 2 der GUV-VA 6/7, die Bestellung eines Betriebsarztes (BA), einer Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FfASi) und eines Brandschutzbeauftragten. Die Bestellung erfolgt auf Grundlage des ausgeschriebenen Rahmenvertrages. Der Rahmenvertrag wird für die Dauer von vier Jahren abgeschlossen. Die Vertragslaufzeit beträgt somit 4 Jahre ohne dass es einer Kündigung bedarf.
